Infection is almost gone! Glad to be seeing healthy pink skin again. Still swollen, but that is just because I haven't been staying off of it. Still have a few days of recovery so the infection on the underside of the skin can heal.

I had to get out of the house today, despite being a mess of infection. I couldn't walk far, but I went through a strip mall area I hadn't been through and found this little guy by a closed building.

Infection fights back! Foot is much more swollen today, as you can tell by my mismatched feet.

infection spread to my eye. It isn't pinkeye, just a reaction to the infection. I got a few different antibiotics today so hopefully all will be good in the next week. Until then, it's Christmastime in my eye!

Skin lesion on my ankle has been giving me some grief, and now it looks infected. Going to go to the dermatologist tomorrow to get something for it. I think the infection has been spreading around my body through my blood because I've been feeling weird, and experiencing general malaise. blah. Sorry if this is gross, but it was what was going on with me today. They can't all be glamorous folks.

Tonight Stacey and I dressed to the 20's. The 1920's that is and went to a Yelp party called AtLAntic City: Yelps Boardwalk Empire. It was a pretty good night, but the event was a bit too crowded. I think if they would have had a smaller guestlist it would have been better, but Stacey and I had a good time while we were there. This picture is crap but I only took pics at the event, and this one is the least sucky

Happy Fathers Day! Spent the day at my Aunt and Uncles again. Today the girls decided my cousin Shaun needed a makeover.

I got bored today, so I decided to do my hair and make-up. It feels a little weird to be all made up while still wearing my jim-jams.

I dyed my hair back to black today! I missed it, and red was fun, blonde was fun, but I feel like I can do so much more with black! I am also loving my red nails.

I went with red nail polish. Glad I did, because I'd forgotten how great this polish is. Usually I wake up with lots of chips out of the polish (I don't know what I do in my sleep!) but This red polish is the bomb.

I need to paint my nails, but I don't know which color. I usually go with that pink, but I just had purple. Hmmm, maybe I need to go find my red nail polish.

Tonight I was lucky enough to attend the premiere of the directorial debut from the amazing Jim Parrack, called Post, at the Playhouse West Film Festival. Jim is an amazing person with an incredible heart and an eye for beauty that cannot be taught. After the screening of the film, Jim and his beautiful wife Ciera (who was the star of the film) did a Q&A. I was so honored to be a part of it all, and proud to know Jim.

My biggest makeup bag. This holds most of my foundations, blushes, bronzers, some brushes, shimmers, and anything too big to go in my smaller make-up bags.

This guy holds sometimes my point and shoot camera, sometimes my iPod, phone, and money, but often holds a few key pieces of my makeup. Its smaller than my big case. I think I need to invest in one big train case with compartments so I can for once and for all have all my makeup in one place.

I love all my handbags, designer and not, they all have a special place in my heart, but this backpack - this backpack is one thing I would likely grab in the event of a fire. This backpack goes with me on any vacation or overnight stay, and is always with me when I go to Disneyland. You can still see part of the Disneyland map sticking out of the water bottle holder thing on the side. There are quite a few little bags that hold pieces of my life that I love. Perhaps I will take photos of them and start a little "Things that hold pieces of my life" series.
