Back in LA. Kinda wish I could have stayed in Ventura another day.

I decided to stay in Ventura yet another day. I was only supposed to be in town Saturday and Sunday, but I wasn't ready to go home so I stayed another night. Then I found out my mom offered to take Max (my grandmothers dog) to the Humane Society to get him neutered, which meant going to Ojai, which meant spending the day with my cousin and my favorite tiny humans. So I stayed another night and spent all day today in Ojai. In the morning Cooper was at school so I had Keira all morning. My cousin Jennifer and I started watching Coraline, but when Jen mentioned she didn't sleep much, my mom told her to go take a nap before she has to get Cooper. Just after Jen went to nap Keira started getting tired so I scooped her up and rocked her a bit and it took less than a minute for her to pass right now. I believe it to be the power of the Fancy Nancy blanket.

After Cooper got home from school he wanted to lay down. Keira was so excited to have her brother home, even though she wasnt tired after taking her nap, she ran over to lay down with him. Things that make you go "Awwwwww!"

I'm intentionally leaving this space blank today. This day a year ago sucked more than any other day in my life. One year later it is still messing with my life. Today I tried to have a nice relaxing day without thinking about how much I hate the month of March. Apparently life had other plans, and today basically sucked. Could have been worse, sure, but still. Nothing in this day was photo-worthy. So consider this one of my days off.

This was at the Hollywood Premiere for the movie Super. Most of the pictures I took that night were with my friends camera so I didn't take a lot with my phone, so today this picture of director James Gunn presenting the movie is going to have to be the photo of the day. I may come back when my friend uploads all the pictures and add to or replace this one.

Boy oh boy is it ever raining out there today. It woke me up pretty early this morning, but I turned on my TV and found Coraline was on one of the movie channels. This is one of my favorite movies. There aren't a lot of perfect moments so I try to appreciate the ones I get when I get them. This was one of them. I was warm in my bed listening to the rain watching this movie. This moment is worthy of my 365 project because it was perfect.

Happy St. Patrick's Day. This has nothing to do with it except its green, even moreso with the green filter. I thought today I'd keep the green filter on, just in case. This is a jug of delicious apple juice.

Edit: I don't even know how it happened, but I was looking back at this blog and realized I messed up this day. I could have left it, but decided not to. This was the night that Jessica Sisk and I went to a screening of Battle: Los Angeles at the Directors Guild of America and the foyer has this beautiful light structure. After the screening we hit up Umami Burger in Studio City. Not terrible but much less impressed with the burger than I was this light structure. Overall though, a good night.

I had Keira all morning. Cooper was at school. She's such a happy little girl and words cannot express the joy she brings to my life. Her laugh and the way she looks at me and smiles. It melts my whole world. Then she falls asleep in my arms, and I melt all over again.

Today almost couldn't be more perfect. This is a photo of Stacey at Kat Von D's Wonderland Gallery. She picked me up in the afternoon and I joined her, Kyle and Matt for a day in Hollywood. Starting with the Wonderland gallery and moving onto thrift store shopping and then drinks and snacks at The Hudson in WeHo. We finished the day with a drive into Griffith Park. God gave us an incredible sunset to watch from the Griffith Observatory. All in all it was a great time with awesome people.

The woman in the photo is my great-grandmother. The photo was taken in the jungle of Borneo where she lived for a few years before my grandmother was born. My great-grandmother had one of the most fascinating lives. This photo of her is one of my favorites. She was so extraordinary. It sits in my grandmothers house.

Taking a picture while driving down the freeway will make the things closest to you look like they have been nearly blown down. I love the contrast between the two trees that look as though they are leaning (as well as the Call Box that I assure you is fully upright) and the trees in the background that weren't skewed.

I went to a "by invite only" garage sale in Studio City. I didn't expect to find anything I could afford, but then I found this gem. Its a vintage Frankenstein art framed and got it for $35. It will eventually go in my living room, but it's not on the walls quite yet.
